Preview of the 19th Annual ACMO/CCI-T Condominium Conference in Toronto

Take In Our Sessions

This year, Richard Elia, Patricia Elia and Marc Bhalla are all speaking at the Conference.

Richard Elia is moderating The Great Director Debate, where a panel featuring Bill Thompson, Carol Dirks, Christine Dunn and Ian Waldron will debate the benefits and drawbacks of professional directors.  This is Session 1D of the Conference and is taking place in the WSP Canada Inc. Room from 11:15am to 12:30pm on Friday, November 13th.  As you may have seen, this session has been listed as the 'can't miss session' of the Conference by Evercondo, so there is plenty of buzz about this controversial topic.

Patricia Elia is speaking at a session titled Townhouses - What Would You Do? alongside Anthony Irwin and Michael LePage on a panel moderated by John Damaren.  The session is taking place from 2:15pm to 3:30pm on Friday, November 13th in the GMA Room (Session 2D).  Anyone involved in townhouse condominiums or interested in the unique challenges they present will not want to miss this session!

Marc Bhalla is taking off his mediator's hat (and suit) to moderate a panel of fellow condominium directors and Board Presidents as they launch CCI Toronto's new CondoSTRENGTH Program for Directors.  Ernie Nyitrai, Josh Milgrom and Mo Killu will draw on their experience serving the communities in whcih they reside in this unique, 'can't miss' session for condominium directors!  The session is taking place from 4:15pm to 5:30pm in the GMA Room as Session 3D and will reveal the highly anticipated, FREE new program that CCI Toronto is offering for directors, by directors.

Richard Elia returns on Saturday, November 14th at 10am to speak alongside Jim Davidson in a session moderated by Dean McCabe titled ACMO - Leading the Way.  Bill 106 and its impact on property management will be discussed in the Comfort Property Management Room during Session 5B, taking place from 10am - 11am Saturday morning.

Meet Our Team

Never before have so many members of the CONDOCENTRIC team attended this annual condominium conference, so look out to re-connect with some familiar faces and meet new ones as you take in this year's Conference.

In keeping with our annual tradition, here is what some members of our team are most looking forward to at the Conference...

"I am looking forward to the debate on Professional Directors.  With Bill 106 arguably setting the “bar” higher for directors, while balancing the findings in Boily, I want to know if professional directors may make turnkey living in condominiums more cost effective living and avoid some of the costly conflict/disputes that drain resources and divide communities." - Patricia Elia
