The annual Your Condo, Your Community Condominium Conference and Trade Show hosted by the Golden Horseshoe Chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute is taking place on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Hamilton Convention Centre (1 Summers Lane, Hamilton).

Patricia Elia, Marc Bhalla and Ashley Winberg will be speaking at this conference:

Do you ‘Know Your Boundaries?’ Patricia Elia will be moderating Session 3B with speakers Michael Le Page, Maurice Cheveldayoff and Josh Milgrom in helping to identify how important boundaries are when living in a condominium corporation. Whether you are an owner, director or property manager, this will be a useful session for you if you aren’t too sure where not only the physical boundaries are but, more importantly, the “boundaries” between the rights and obligations of residents, owners and directors. Catch this session from 1:30pm- 2:30pm.

Condominium Management is essential for many condominium corporations.  Whether you’re a board member, property manager or just interested in discovering how to effectively run a condominium corporation, this session will prove insightful.  Ashley Winberg will be speaking alongside Ray Wilson and Pamela Smuts from 3pm-4pm in Session 4A.

The Nuisance of Noise & the Trouble with Silence – Managing Conflict in Today’s Condo Community will take place at 3-4pm as Session 4B.  Marc Bhalla will be moderating speakers Sally-Anne Dooman, Chris Jaglowitz & Colm Brannigan as they present a thought-provoking session on dispute resolution which will tackle some of the challenging issues that give rise to conflict in condo communities today.  The expert panel will speak to society’s growing intolerance of sexism, racism and prejudice applied to the condominium setting and highlight lessons from recent headlines, including alleged bad conduct of celebrities and the provincial government’s new campaign on harassment and mental health awareness initiatives.
