Richard Elia, Marc Bhalla & Antoni Casalinuovo speaking at Condominium Conference in Kitchener
The Golden Horseshoe Chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute’s annual conference will be taking place in Kitchener on May 6 & 7, 2016. This year, the conference's theme is Condominium Communication Illuminated – Tools to Communicate Effectively.
Marc Bhalla and Antoni Casalinuovo will be participating in complementary sessions on Saturday, May 7th that focus upon “The Condo Conflict Train” and Richard Elia will be taking part in the Legal Rapid Fire Session.
From 11:30am to 12:30pm, Marc Bhalla will be moderating a session titled “The Condo Conflict Train – Stop 1: Early Street” where Michelle Kelly, Brad Wells & Erica Gerstheimer will join him to examine the opportunities and obstacles involved in addressing conflict in the early stages – both formally and informally and for both the individuals directly involved and the overall condominium community. The panel will speak to “real life” scenarios in this interactive adventure and provide tools to more effectively manage conflict from the first signs of its emergence.
From 1:30pm to 2:30pm, Antoni Casalinuovo will speak at a session titled “The Condo Conflict Train – Stop 2: Downtown” joined by Michael Clifton and Jennifer Bell in a session moderated by Colm Brannigan which will shed light on required mediation/arbitration processes as well as the reality of proceeding to court. The panel will draw on their breadth of experience with alternative and traditional dispute resolution processes and share their views on how best to “fit the forum to the fuss”.
