Condominium communities bring people together. They can be one’s home, workplace and/or investment. While it is only natural for conflict to arise in this environment, it is how it is managed that makes all the difference. We offer a full range of ADR services to help preserve community harmony and avoid the time, cost and stress that results from the unnecessary escalation of disputes.

Our goal is cost effective and creative legal solutions. Why? To grow and sustain condominium communities through trust and intelligence.

As former Supreme Court of Canada Justice Thomas Cromwell wrote in 2001, “The success of a condominium depends in large measure on an equitable balance being struck between the independence of the individual owners and the interdependence of them all in a co-operative community.” Finding that balance, and implementing a solution that fits the needs of the particular community, is my primary goal as a litigator and as counsel to condominium corporations and unit owners throughout Ontario.

I am myopic in my approach to condominium law. I strive for solutions or results that serve the greater collective rather than the interests of an individual. I believe that’s the whole point of living in a condominium, you can reap all of the advantages that a community offers.

Unlike many other types of conflict, disputes within a condominium corporation are especially complicated as the parties involved remain in close proximity to each other. Focusing on the exigencies of modern living in a condominium setting, my goal is to find creative solutions for the collective benefit of all parties involved.
